FIRST CHANGE • Scales begin to manifest, starting along arms, back, & shoulders. • Nails darken & harden, becoming claws. • Muscle begins to build up, & tongue begins to extend and become lizard-like. • Smaller toes begin to fuse.

SECOND CHANGE • Skin begins to grow scaled over the legs and lower arms, while scales over the shoulders and back grow more 'thorned' and prominent. • Toes fuse completely. • Tongue reaches full length, and teeth are replaced with sharper ones. • Cravings for human & monster flesh begin to manifest.

THIRD CHANGE • Skin over entire body is now scaled; 'thorned' horns of scales grow prominent enough to be mistaken for actual horns on the head. • Hands and feet become like those of an actual lizard's, making walking somewhat awkward. • Muscle mass reaches its peak, and resistance to pain develops. • Overall skill in climbing and leaping is enhanced, and hunting instinct begins to develop.

FINAL CHANGE • Wing-like Protrusions grow out. • Lack of biological needs (including sleep, eating, and breathing) kick in. • Fatal weakness to flame kicks in. • Hunting instinct and cravings for flesh are at their peak.
